The son of a 1st generation Home Builder while growing up in Milton, Georgia, Bryan Samples would work summer jobs with his father as a roofing and construction contractor. This allowed him to gain a lot of inside experience in regards to the structural makeup of homes.

In High School, Bryan found that he had a fascination for construction design in his mechanical drawing class. In college, studying art as a fill in credit course, Bryan found that it opened up the opportunity to expand his imagination in design while continuing several years of part time work in the construction of homes.

After joining a growing and expanding nationwide company for a management opportunity in the mid 70’s, he then found himself having the opportunity to be a construction coordinator for the build out renovations and construction of new stores located in regional shopping malls.

With the experience and fascination to do something constructive, Bryan decided to leave the regional company and start his own construction company back in Georgia. In 1982, with his Father & Brother, he began his new career in the Forsyth County area and Samples Home Builders, now Samples Residential, was established.

Several years later, after developing and building a couple of smaller subdivisions, Bryan moved his family to the Cumming, Ga. area. With the passion & opportunity to grow and expand, he began building Custom Homes in the Polo Golf & Country Club Community & Legends of Settendown Creek Community, as well as many other communities and properties on Lake Lanier and throughout north metro Atlanta.

Over the decades, Samples Residential has completed more than 500 projects to include building 150 plus Custom Homes as a premier builder for the Forsyth, Cherokee and Dawson County communities. Always specializing & providing a Custom Finish product has given Bryan a notoriety of prowess in the community. Bryan brings a lifelong love & passion for homes that is incomparable to our clients and overall industry.

The son of a 2nd generation Home Builder growing up in Cumming, Georgia, Nathan’s childhood was spent at his father’s side visiting job site after job site, which still continues to this day.

In his youth, Nathan could be seen working a multitude of summer jobs in those very same communities that he would visit as a child. Starting from the bottom, Nathan experienced the hard work and dedication his Father Bryan would continuously preach and eventually instill upon him, day after day, job after job, during those hot summer days.

After his college years, Nathan joined the company full time in 2002, as the director of operations. This job position allowed him to learn all aspects of the family business, as well as further groom him to one day run the company his Father worked so tirelessly to start.

In 2005, Nathan continued his lifelong passion for homes as a licensed realtor. This job position allowed him to see over both sides of the fence through the experience of representing both buyers & sellers. Nathan learned what homeowners really want and need, not only in construction, but also in the real estate sphere.

In 2008, the mortgage market collapsed, new home construction and real estate almost completely ceased and the economy fell into a recession. Nathan & Bryan put the tool belts back on and started the new business venture of Home Renovations. Getting back to the hands on work in the field presented a new appreciation for this family owned business.

In 2010, the home renovations company continued to succeed, the mortgage market and economy steadily improved, and Nathan jumped back into the real estate sphere. With his newly found appreciation and continued passion for homes, Nathan has been the beneficiary of many accolades & awards, as well as worldwide recognition with Berkshire Hathaway Georgia Properties.
